Mélanie Coulet in everyday life, Melissmell on stage, has never renounced her commitment to fighting injustice, racism and stupidity in general. Against all odds, she has forged her own path, never doubting or abandoning her convictions, while in the general turmoil, some have chosen to tone down their message.

It is no coincidence that her fifth album is entitled Olympe. A tribute to an activist, a woman who never gave in. A guiding light for many of us. A woman whose name should never be forgotten.

With her fighting spirit intact, she remains a fighter — as a woman, a mother and an activist.
