Located in the municipality of Désaignes, in a quiet little hamlet in the Ardèche countryside, this fully renovated gîte welcomes you into a warm and inviting atmosphere where you will immediately feel at home. Adjoining the owners’ house, it is arranged over two floors.
On the ground floor, the living area combines a fully equipped kitchenette with a convivial dining space, ideal for preparing and sharing wonderful moments, perhaps with local produce. A comfortable bedroom with a 140 cm double bed and a shower room with a walk-in shower and toilet complete this level.
Upstairs, a cosy chalet-style lounge offers unobstructed views over the Ardèche hills and is the perfect place to relax, read or watch a film. The second bedroom is also located on this floor and features a 180 cm bed. A second shower room with shower and toilet completes the accommodation.
Bed linen, household linen and towels are provided, and a shared washing machine is available.
Outside, a pleasant private area awaits you beneath the lime tree, with garden furniture and sun loungers. The peaceful views and surrounding environment invite you to discover the local wildlife and flora and enjoy beautiful walks through the Ardèche countryside.
Just five minutes away, the medieval village of Désaignes, designated a Village of Character, offers a lively local atmosphere with events such as the “La Voie Romaine” trail in spring, the medieval festival in August and the Castagnades in autumn. Local shops and craftspeople are present all year round.
During your stay, you can also discover the Doux Valley and its tourist train, explore the landscapes around Saint-Agrève or relax at Lake Devesset, where swimming, windsurfing and pedal boating await you.
