From May 1968 to citizens’ movements, posters have established themselves as a free, direct and accessible means of expression. Without intermediaries, they allow everyone to put their ideas, anger and commitments on the walls of our cities.

Through the work of Jean-Claude Matthey and Atelier des Clots, discover the story of an independent poster artist who turned screen printing into a true artistic weapon. From Croix-Rousse to Ardèche, his posters bear witness to an unwavering desire to question, challenge and provoke a reaction.
