Our family decided to create our own adventure under the stars⭐, a unique experience that strengthened our family bonds and added an extra dose of adventure to our stay.

Welcome to our gripping account of the unforgettable getaway we took to Ardèche, a charming town nestled in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This picturesque destination has proven to be a true paradise for adventure seekers, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

SATURDAY : TRIATHLON AND DISCOVERIES DAY
Let's continue our story with the second day of our getaway to Lamastre, an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts and sports enthusiasts, located in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
On Saturday morning, the excitement was palpable after a restful night. Alizée, aged 8, was impatiently waiting to see her brother and father tackle their first triathlon. Imbued with the infectious energy of the participants, we headed towards the triathlon site, emphasizing that Lamastre, with its exceptional natural setting, was the ideal choice for this sporting event. Although skiing could have added an extra touch to the adventure, the triathlon, consisting of swimming, cycling and running events, was a complete challenge.
While the male members of the family competed in the triathlon events, the rest of us explored the delights of the 🛍️Lamastre market. Local 🧀cheeses such as Saint-Félicien and Picodon added a tasty touch to our day. After the triathlon, the beach at 💧 Retourtour
was the magical place where we practiced our own sporting exercises.

SUNDAY : RELAXATION AND FAREWELL TO LAMASTRE
On Sunday morning, Arthur had a unique experience in store for me, a real adventure carefully planned to amaze us. Our day in Ardèche began with an exceptional relaxation session led by Giorgio Cammarata, an expert in 🧘yoga and relaxation based in Désaignes. Nestled on the edge of the lake that had been the scene of our triathlon the day before, the town proved itself to be a haven of peace and introspection as the sun rose. As a family, we all immersed ourselves in the soothing world of this discovery session, offering a 🎁gift that exceeded all our expectations.
The afternoon was devoted to an exciting discovery of the 🚂Mastrou,
a steam locomotive which promises adventures just as thrilling as those we have just experienced. Although our exploration was limited to the platform, it sparked our curiosity and prompted us to plan a return trip to discover the natural treasures this vintage train has in store for us.
At the end of the afternoon, under the 🌅sunset behind the Ardèche peaks, we strolled through the picturesque streets of Lamastre, absorbing one last time the warm atmosphere of this charming town. Before our departure, we took a moment to reflect on our exceptional stay and all the discoveries that Lamastre had in store for us, 💎a true gem nestled in the heart of Ardèche. The discoveries, adventures and moments of relaxation made this getaway an unforgettable experience.
